Marco Cholo . . . progress

Sorry for the blurriness, not the greatest picture, but the best I could take with the camera I'm using at this time. The original is much sharper, the color is off as well. Also, please check out my website, just updated it!

Awesome work man! Real nice values. The paint has a nice surface quality to it...what are you painting on? And congratulations on your newborn daughter!

Hey thanks Marco Joe, and Dad! The surface that I am painting on is a thick illustration board, hot press, watercolor surface. I put a layer or two of gesso over it before I started. This photo doesn't really do it much justice, as soon as I can I'll post a nice scan of it.

Thank you Turcious, I'm very familiar with your work, you've got such a strong and original style, I'm honored you checked out my blog!

Damn, boy, you can draw! I haven't checked out your blog in a while, and as usual I'm very impressed. Not a stinker in the whole joint. Keep up the amazing work, Jason
Dale
