Elvis of the Dead!
This is just a quick little 2" thumbnail sketch, drawn in about 10 minutes or so . . . working on a spoof cover of sorts based off the old classic "Famous Monsters of Filmland" magazines. It's for a small film festival held in Southern Illinois called "The Imaginarium". This years theme is 50's cool and monsters . . . the final will be a Zombie-like Elvis painted in oils and may have a retro look to it, I'm still developing ideas and color themes, will post more as soon as I can.
Also, my illustration for the Marx Brother's book is coming along nicely, I've been saving stages so I can post everything for you to see . . . when the time is right!
Take care,
-Jason

Marco Cholo
I finished my Marco painting for now . . . warning for anyone using KRYLON Kamar Varnish on your oil paintings . . . I've been told that if you spray it lightly it will help the drying process, so you can "make deadlines" if you're painting in oils . . . well make sure it's really dry before you give it a light coat. I found out the hard way and had some small bubbling. I will wait a bit and touch up those areas and re- scan, for now, here's the painting as is.
Working on a few other jobs, will hopefully post some new stuff soon!

Daley
A quick sketch this morning, warming up for a new illustration job.
I am currently working out sketches and composition ideas for a new Marx Brothers illustration which will appear in a book due out this year about the Marx Brothers. I'm very excited about this project and feel very honored to be a part of such a great group of artists who will also appear in the book. Some of those artists are Jack Davis, Drew Struzan, Herman Mejia, Richard Williams, Mark Fredrickson, Mort Drucker, Sergio Aragones, Tom Bunk, Sam Viviano, and Drew Friedman.
As soon as I have permission I'll share what can on this project!
Take care!
