About Me
- Name: SEILER

SEILER (Syler) is an award winning artist (who cares?), specializing in portraits, character design, and humorous illustration. Some of his clients include Rolling Stone, TIME magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Penguin Group, GOLF magazine, Guitar Player, The Weekly Standard, Business Week, MAD magazine and the Village Voice, among many others. SEILER also teaches drawing and painting high end caricature illustration at Schoolism.com When not drawing or painting, SEILER spends the rest of his time with his two gorgeous girls, Isabeau and Ava!

All of your stuff is inspirational. Listened to Chris Sasaki lecture on 2d design here in Portland a few days ago. He dropped your name as somebody awesome he had worked with.

Hey Jason, just wanted to say how much I enjoy your new book. Some really great work in there, my favorite are the sketch pages with the rough skethes of all the faces. I've been looking at every detail in your paintings and studying them before I quit working for the night.

I like the pastel color pallet you chose. Between the green jacket and the orange-ish hair, your eyes are immediate drawn to his face. Very funny!
