SEILER (Syler) is an award winning artist (who cares?), specializing in portraits, character design, and humorous illustration. Some of his clients include Rolling Stone, TIME magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Penguin Group, GOLF magazine, Guitar Player, The Weekly Standard, Business Week, MAD magazine and the Village Voice, among many others. SEILER also teaches drawing and painting high end caricature illustration at Schoolism.com When not drawing or painting, SEILER spends the rest of his time with his two gorgeous girls, Isabeau and Ava!

Hi Jason - got my coffee and downloaded the mag and now for a good read - what I've read so far is a truthful telling of what it takes to be "good" and possibly "great." Hard work - and a lot of it - study skull (what a concept!). Congrats to one of the hardest working men it the biz!
Really nice Q&A with this article. I pretty much new how you were going to answer most of the questions about your art just from looking at your finished pieces. I would love take a class of your schoolism course if I can find the time. Well maybe someday. Love the article and really love your art!
