W.I.P. JACK WHITE III
This is a work in progress, I got a new photoshop today and so I'm messing around with it, trying to get comfortable with it . . . this is what I came up with. I like it loose and painterly like this so when I finish it, I'll be sure to keep it loose.
First step of block in shown on the left side . . .

Oh, I'm really looking forward to the next paintings with the new photoshop. I tried to get used to the new brushes, but I'm still not comfortable with em.

After struggling with a few drawings, I'm sure you will become a incredible result... Like always! Love this painting also!
Did you get CS5 , if so I would love to here what you think about the mixer brush. I found myself trying to stay away from it cause It kind of feels like cheating to me. Idk I would like to here what you think. If you don't know about it yet. Click and hold on your brushes icon then pick the 4th one down(mixer brush tool) Load any brush you like and select sample all layers. Then mix away.
keep plugging away mate, I'm sure you'll get there in the end...
Awesome coloring!!!

ah i was just caricaturing this guy today! I was having trouble because his face seemed so plain to me. I ended up making the nose long with a small mouth, but i like yours way better. Good likeness!
Thats why it pays to keep up with this blog!
Damn, this is awesome. I love how sketchy it is and the background colors. It looks done to me!
