Quick Sketch
I'm still trying to adjust to my new life of not much sleep! I love my girls, one is three and the other is three weeks old, but it is quite a change to get used to. Lately I haven't had much time for sketching on my own, so this morning I gave it a go, had to get a sketch out of my system, and hopefully I'll be able to continue until I feel back to normal. I used a dark purple prismacolor pencil, and then dashed a bit of blue with photoshop.

another nice one man. Love the technique. It must be tough to lose all that sleep, but I'm sure it's a small price to pay for two great kids! I'm looking forward to that time in my life. Although right now I'll sleep while I can :)
WOW!
What an awesome blog! I went through it all and I think your work and technique are brilliant. I want to do more caricatures now. Just great exaggeration of shapes! Awesome work!

I love it you've really captured the likeness!! another good one! Cant wait to see your paintings!!
Marco and Sensei- Thank you so much, I did a quick sketch of Condi Rice, will try and post it tomorrow morning. Worked more on my Marco painting today, really close to finishing it.
Rob- Thank you for stopping by, glad you like what you've seen!
I think it's absolutely fantastic that despite your busy schedule you will still sketch your own stuff.
I feel thats a big part of what makes a good artist. Wonderful stuff my friend.
hi Jason,
Thanks for your comments.
Great drawing. I understand you had to get it out.
What ever happened to that marco cholo painting, and to the wedding portrait of your brother.
I'dlove to see those!
Thanks Bobby, yeah, you gotta sketch, whenever you can. I try to take a sketch book with me whenever I can.
Thank you Wouter! As for the paintings you mentioned, I'm working on the Marco Cholo painting right now, I'll post a new picture soon . . . as for the painting of my brother, I'm working on that as well but don't want to post it until it's finished, because he checks out my blog from time to time and I want them to be a little surprised.
Both of these paintings are being done on my own time, so it's taking a bit of time for me to get them finished. Marco will be finished very soon, thanks for checking in, I'm flattered that they've kept your interest!
