This is made of awesome. :)
Amazing! One of your best.
WOW Jason! That's out of hand!! The detail in the face wrinkles is amazing. You captured such a great sense of form too. Well done man!
Just amazing! I love that the cat is caricatured too! They've done the text very sensitively - it compliments the art & allows it to breathe - looks almost like a wraparound book cover this way!
Absolutely stunning piece, Jason! I'm simply in awe. The background blows me away. It's very understated, yet realistic without conflicting with the caricatures. The piece just has it's own "life". A "world" where even the stationary objects harmonize and have a "life" all their own. I'm not sure if I'm inspired now or demoralized, LOL!
BTW, don't ask me why but I've decided my favorite part of the whole piece is Bush's ear...
Hey jason,,,
Excelente obra,,,digna de todo un maestro como tu,,,,felicitaciones,,,
SALUDOS Y EXITOS
GUAICO
Great composition Jason and the detail is impressive you did this in a single layer?
Thanks everyone, your comments are much appreciated!!! Also should mention that it is all painted in one layer. There were times where I would paint briefly on another layer to test something but would quickly flatten it.
Excellent end result Jason. All the elements are there to see; those things that make for a powerful image and tell a story.. with impact. It is easy to see why you are in demand -- on time with the good goods.
Wow...I concur with what everyone has said. I'm curious as to how much direction the magazine gave you, and how much you were allowed to do your own thing? The attention to detail in this is incredible, Jason.
You should teach a course...I'd take it. KIDDING!
Thank you much Bill and Patrick, and Patrick, I do teach an online course if you're interested? Just visit Schoolism.com . . . . awe come on, I had to take the opportunity for another shameless plug! . . . .

I'm always late in answering , and when I want to I see that everything already has been said...
