Jimmy Fallon sketch!
Just for fun, a quick warm up for practice, sketching with photoshop. I started first by blocking in with a fleshy color then painted in black and white values on top . . . no rhyme nor reason, just because I enjoy painting.
Here's a pic I took while working on it.
I attended this convention last year, was honored to have won a few awards, but more than anything, it is a great way to learn and have fun with fellow artists!
For those of you who may not have heard, the National Caricaturist Network has a new name. It is now the ISCA, which stands for the International Society of Caricature Artists. So now the NCN Annual Caricature Convention will be known as the ISCA Annual Caricature Convention.
Speaking of the convention, I wanted to tell everyone here about the big news. This year's annual convention is taking place at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio from November 2nd through the 7th. And the best part is this year's theme: MAD Magazine! We have four top artists from MAD as our guests of honor: Sam Viviano, Mark Fredrickson, Hermann Meija and Tom Richmond. And also for the first time, they are allowing NON-members to come and attend the guest speaker seminars for a special price. All the info can be found here.
I also would like to share a Book my Dad has for sale, you can check out more on my Dad by clicking here. This book is a MUST for anyone serious about painting!

Is that one of the wacoms where there is a screen inside the tablet? I've heard mixed things from artists, concept artists, and FX guys...How do you like it?

Great job. And your father´s book seems to be be a solid work.
Very appealing Fallon drawing, it seems so much simpler than it is - so much fun to look at.
