Hillary Goes Back to School!

Here's a new Hillary that I did this week for next week's issue of The Weekly Standard. Two and a half days on this painting. I had A LOT of fun working on this piece . . . . if you can't tell.

That must be one of the best caricatures I've seen of anybody. This is incredible !

Wow man this is just incredible! I love how she's stepping out of the frame. The type is really tight too - did you do those on a seperate layer and then shrink it down - or on the same layer?! This really is one of my favourites

Great the way you play detail against the diffuse Jason. It creates a cool tension and visual interest. The lashes are key for me.. gives that special note. Your skill at telling a visual story is amped.

I'm working with a friend on a sci-fi comic called HOME. You can see some of the work here:

What's better? The technical brilliance? Or the storytelling - who can't chuckle at your rendition here? So many things to admire in this piece Jason!

Hey jason.

Love the rendering on the face. It has a great 'Drew Struzan' looseness to it.

Thanks all ya'll! This piece was A LOT of fun to do, I think it's one of my favorites yet. Hillary has one of the best faces and heads of hair for caricature . . . lots to play with!
