Awesome sketch and great that we can see the process almost all of your work. Big thanks for that.
ha.. I would like to but I can't get a basic likeness in 60 seconds.. no matter what in my drawings I always seem to get a "likeness" enough you can tell who it is supposed to be.. but off just enough to tell something is wrong.. I'm stumped.
Great sketch as usual. I always enjoy seeing the process.
HEY.. meant to ask.. whatever happened with the Acrylic DVD/class you were shooting a few months back??
WoW!!!! This is amazing man!!! I love the subtle lines, highlights, and shadows!!!!! Well Done!!! Is this for RS?
Always love how you handle hair - even in sketches. Do you sketch with the 24 brush (photoshop) or do you use a round brush?
HAHAHAHAHA
You blow my mind Jason.
Thanks for the WIP images. I am very smitten with your 60 second sketch.
I just posted a painting of ODB....
Cool sketch Jason. Just after looking through your last few posts man- the two rolling stones paintings are amazing!
Awesome man!
Perfect likeness!
Love the eyes and glasses!
I like the contrast of the shape of the skull to the hat - Seems a natural setup if humor is intended for this job. The realism takes it to another level so I imagine anything is possible, funny or serious - come to think of it Depp has had so many looks.. why not this? Great job Jason -
Amazing sketch Jason! I'm sure the final illustration will be awesome! :D
I think doing the sketch very quickly allows better capture the likeness of the character more accurately and, in this procedure, intuition plays a big role.
As always AWESOME!!
Very cool. You are bringing out Johnny Depp's inner Truman Capote.
