Painting done for Photoshop Tutorials

This is the final painting that I did for Photoshop Tutorials, and the subject, or model is a guy that works for PS Tutorials. The tutorial is an in-depth step by step on how to paint a portrait in Photoshop, using the brushes that come with Photoshop. It will be available soon and when it is, I will add a link to follow.

Detail. Click here to see the tutorial.

And a reminder that my next class for Schoolism starts this Friday, there are still a couple slots open, so sign up today.

Not to sound weird, but there's always a wetness to your portraits that sets them off. It looks great.

Wow, did I read that right on the PSPremium tutorials page? It is just $9 a month or $22 for three months to get this tutorial and more? I was looking for the price and expecting "download this now for $39.99"!!

I am totally amused that the "sitter", Grant's, girlfriend is rather afraid of this painting! It is a bit in your face. I agree that the paint feels "wet". Interesting that. I am also amused that people seem to sort of complain that without drawing talent a tutorial doesn't "teach" them... haha! That is like a master class in a musical instrument. Me with my piano lessons 40 yrs ago would find them not much more than entertainment to watch, either! :D

Looking forward to watching the tutorial and seeing what I get out of it. Even if it is way above my skill level, $9 is less than the price of a movie these days, and much better spent here I would guess. :)

ps, you have inspired me to get my butt in gear and actually PRACTICE drawing. What a concept!
