Don Hill - Quick Sketch . . . fairly quick anyways!

I'm in the middle of a few publication jobs, just finished a cover for a children's book and starting another spot illustration today for The Weekly Standard. So to break things up a bit, I'm posting a quick ps sketch that I did tonight of my friend Don Hill.

The gesture of the face grabs me here. The line quality of the muscle shapes/structure has a flair that draws attention in a dramatic way. Your line has come alive on this page and gives me some insight into your friend's character.

Thank you all so much, and Bill, thank you, your words are so well put . . . I thought it was just a bit of a doodle, some scratches on paper, but you make it sound much more than that, thank you.
